About this Panelists/Speakers
I am currently a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying how viruses interact with their hosts. More broadly, my research is aimed at understanding the intersection of physics, biology, and computer science to understand the mathematics that governs evolutionary biology and complex living systems. I pretend that things like viruses and proteins and tiny computer programs that reprogram nature. I also worked in data science for two years, which helped me understand how to use the vast amounts of data we can access in order to answer these kinds of questions.
