Liesl Krause

Liesl Krause is a current 3rd year PhD candidate and Purdue Doctoral Fellow at Purdue Polytechnic. Her undergraduate and master's degree are in electrical and biomedical engineering, respectively. During her time in these studies, she discovered a love for sharing engineering knowledge and improving engineering curriculums. Her dissertation revolves around advisor/student interactions in engineering fields and how social media can play a role in providing support to students. Liesl is also a social media coordinator for PhD Balance and is helping to make PhD Balance a resource for all graduate students. In her free time, Liesl enjoys running, reading, and hanging out with her puppy Archer. She has a side hustle as a puppy wrangler and social media coordinator for Ashford Manor Labradoodles.
