Naveen Rao is an entrepreneur, technologist, and AI/ML expert. He is currently an investor, advisor, and board member of a variety of technology and AI startups. Naveen was previously the founder and CEO of Nervana Systems, a startup focused on hardware and software optimizations for neural networks. Nervana was acquired by Intel in 2016 and this formed the basis of Intel AI. He built and lead this organization from 2016 to early 2020. Naveen holds a BSEE (computer science and electrical engineering) from Duke University and PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Brown Univerisity.
